Learning Transcendental Meditation
The Transcendental Meditation technique is easy to learn and provides a lifetime of benefits. The Transcendental Meditation technique is taught through a seven-step course of instruction by a trained TM teacher. The course fee includes one to one instruction followed by group and individual sessions over six months. This ensures that your TM continues to be fresh and 100% correct
The first step is to come to a free information talk about Transcendental Meditation. This takes about an hour, and gives you a full overview of the technique, its benefits and how it is learned. You can also discuss privately with the teacher any personal considerations. There is no commitment to learn. Following the talk you can book for course of instruction:
Transcendental Meditation course of instruction
These steps take place over four consecutive days.
- Day 1: Personal instruction
This is the one-to-one session where you learn the actual technique of Transcendental Meditation. Allow 1 to 2 hours. Afer learning, you are able to meditate at home on your own. - Days 2, 3 and 4: Follow-up meetings
These all-important sessions verify that you are practising correctly, and give further knowledge and understanding relevant to your continuing twice-daily meditation. Each session lasts 1 to 2 hours. -
Ongoing support
Once you've completed the seven-step TM course, you'll have the intellectual and experiential knowledge to meditate effectively. Then a series of important weekly and monthly group and personal "meditation check-ups" ensure that you are practising correctly and enjoying the full benefits. These meetings are arranged at your convenience over your first six months of practice.
Your teacher will always be happy to hear from you, to check your meditation and answer any questions you might have.

"If you have a technique that you practise 20 minutes twice a day, a technique that allows you to be dynamic in your activity and yet not to accumulate the stress that wreaks havoc on your health, then you have a key to better health."
